The North East Virtual Assistants (NEVA) group decided to hold a conference on 31st May 2014 to provide an opportunity for virtual assistants to get together and discuss ideas, without the need to shell out on atrip to London, where the only other VA event was being held at that time. We expected – and got – delegates from Scotland and London, as well as our own members from Darlington, Sunderland and Durham.
NEVA Chair Angela Dawson explained: “Virtual assistance is something that has really taken off over the last few years, and in the USA it’s celebrated by Global VA week. We thought it would be nice to expand our monthly meet-ups into an event for everyone.”
The conference involves workshops, guest speakers, exhibition stands and goodie bags.
Virtual assistants from all over the country will have the opportunity to share ideas, discuss the latest technology developments and develop relationships.
Administration is something that all businesses need to deal with, and having a virtual assistant on hand to take care of it makes life easier. The conference is a fantastic way for people to take time out of their busy schedules and find out what others are doing.
